Title: Lamb's Quarters

Description: Lamb's quarters is considered a weed that can grow up to six feet tall and blooms in clusters. Beware, they have spikes on them! The plant is green with spikey looking flowers which are light brown. One plant can hold up to 1,000 seeds and they can multiply fast. The flowers become small fruits with tiny seeds in them (so if you ever want to look at the seeds, you know where to find them). Lamb's quarters grows on roadsides, stream banks, gardens, lawns and waste places. When the weather gets cold the plant dies. If you ever want to see lamb's quarters come to the United States of America, because it is native to North America. Lamb's quarters scientific name is Chenopodium berlandieri. According to the research of Elizabeth Windsong, lamb's quarters can be eaten raw or steamed for food.
