Week 2, Heritage Class
 

During week two, the students learned about the benefits of Nature Journaling. Keeping a journal helps to build lasting connections by observing and paying attention to detail and also helps one remember more effectively. Using craft paper each student created their own mini nature journal about their assigned plant. They included information on traditional uses by Kumeyaay/Diegueño People and drew various sketches of their plant.
