Bladderpod Growth

At the beginning of the seven week class each student planted a bladderpod seed. Bladderpod, or 'epshash, is a native plant with beautiful yellow flowers and hanging pods of seed. The flowers can be cooked and eaten (must be boiled and rinsed to remove bitterness).

Photographs show some of the growth process. Each student took home their plant at the end of the program.
