Description: The scientific name for Everlasting Flower is Pseudognaphalium californicum and it is from the Asteraceae family. Everlasting Flower has an inflorescence, which is a cluster of flowers, that are white with a yellow center. The plant is native to the west coast of North America, from Washington state to Baja California. According to the research and notes of Elizabeth Windsong, Everlasting Flower leaves were used for mucus infections of the lungs and intestines. The plant could also be boiled and used as a poultice on sores.
